Christian Science became my religion when I was seven years old, and since then I have used it practically, according to my understanding. I am deeply grateful for the ever increasing number of proofs I am having that only good is real and has power; and I thank Mrs. Eddy for giving us back this demonstrable truth and explaining the Bible for us.

God has guarded me all the way. At my school examinations I felt safe in the thought expressed by Jesus, "This is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day."

When I left school a good deal of discussion went on as to what work I should take up. I longed to be able to decide for myself, but there seemed such a varied choice and I had no leanings. Then one morning the thought came that, of course, I must follow the Master's injunction, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you;" and I became happy, satisfied, and eager, although I told no one of my decision. Since that day it is very beautiful how Love has guided each human step, giving me occupation and leading me to the privileges of membership with The Mother Church, class instruction, and membership with a branch church, so supplying me with showers of blessings and opportunities for service.
