When Christian Science found me, over three years ago, I had been a medical nurse for thirty years. I was healed of the habit of taking a drug which contained dope. The first day I became interested in this Science I was able to take off an elastic stocking which I had worn for twenty-nine years. Bright's disease of fifteen years' standing, which had been pronounced incurable by the medical profession, was also healed.

Only a few months after I first knew of Christian Science, a finger of my right hand was crushed in a bus door. The physician sent by the bus company to see me said it would be just as well to have my hand amputated, as blood poisoning had set in and nothing could save it; but through the loving and untiring work of a practitioner this condition was also overcome.

I am very grateful for the church services, for the Reading Rooms, and for all who have so lovingly helped me. I am grateful for Mary Baker Eddy, whose consecrated thought revealed to us that God who is Love is an ever present help.—(Miss) Eva M. Gillam, Flushing, New York.
