Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication for the Year Ended September 30, 1930

With reference to the work during the past year, it is gratifying to note that many of the references to Christian Science in the local press have been of a constructive character, and that the general attitude of the editors is favorable.

A well-attended lecture was given in February by the Hon. William E. Brown, C. S. B., Los Angeles, California, member of the Board of Lectureship of The Mother Church. This lecture, the title of which was "Christian Science: the Truth about God, Man, and the Universe," was reprinted in full by two Hongkong newspapers, and in part by three other papers, including the Sunday paper. Our grateful appreciation for this generous space was duly conveyed to the editors.

Some good publicity was secured for the Christian Science Benevolent Association on Pacific Coast, and three newspapers carried full reports as published in The Christian Science Monitor, together with a press photograph of our new Sanatorium.
