For over twenty years my written testimony has been due—a testimony of the healing and regenerating power of God's Word as made plain to human understanding through the teachings of the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy.

That "man's extremity is God's opportunity" was proved by my physical healing when, all human means having been exhausted, inquiring thought was turned to God as the healer of all our infirmities. I had been a delicate child, and had suffered much in girlhood from curvature of the spine, liver trouble, stomach disorder, and, from time to time, a host of other difficulties. Surely no one could have more cause than I to be grateful for finding the priceless blessings bestowed upon us in Christian Science, and surely no one could have put its teachings to greater test. Never has this blessed truth failed me when rightly applied and steadfastly adhered to.

In the care and training of my two children I have been guided daily, hourly. I am deeply thankful that through our daily study and constant endeavor to use our understanding in each and every circumstance, my children and I have grown into that unity of thought which is a joy indeed.
