Some years ago when returning home from school during the luncheon recess I tripped and fell, fracturing my right forearm. On arriving home I journeyed to the city with my mother and went to see a Christian Science practitioner. Loving help was at once given and the arm simply placed at rest on a cushion. In three days I was able to use my knife at the table, and within three weeks was back at school as usual. This wonderful healing was accomplished without the aid of splints or bandages. The arm was later seen by a medical friend, who expressed amazement at the perfect mend.
I was then about nine years of age, and I attended the Christian Science Sunday School. Since I came to the realization of this wonderful truth there has been steady progress. I am grateful for the privilege of being an usher in our local church; for all the wonderful benefits received through the knowledge of Christian Science, and for the loving help of the practitioner who was so untiring in her efforts. Healings too numerous to mention in a testimony have been experienced. Because of these and the unity at home my heart is filled with gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for her wonderful revelation to this age.—Stanley B. Close, Chatswood, New South Wales, Australia.
I wish to verify the above testimony. I, too, am grateful for the loving help received through the study of Christian Science. I was left a widow with two children, but have always found my every need met; and this has made me realize that God is the source of all supply if we look to Him and feel His constant care. I am also grateful for the loving help from the dear practitioner who has always been so willing to help us, for class instruction, and for the privilege of being a member of the local Christian Science church.
