In loving gratitude for what Christian Science has done...
In loving gratitude for what Christian Science has done for me, I want to add my testimony to the many helpful ones appearing in the Journal and Sentinel. I have had many physical healings, some instantaneous. Influenza was met in three hours, and pneumonia was overcome in less than a day. When Christian Science came to me, over twenty years ago, I had been suffering with rheumatism for many months. In four treatments I was healed.
One healing which stood out was of a cut of the large artery in the wrist, caused by my falling on some glass. It bled profusely. We telephoned to a Christian Science practitioner, asking for help; but fear seemed to creep in, so we called a second time. The practitioner said "That is met right now." By the time my sister-in-law came back from the telephone, the wound was closed and scarcely bleeding at all. Just another proof of the power of spiritual understanding!
A short time ago I passed through a financial difficulty which was taken care of so beautifully in Christian Science that words cannot express my gratitude. I am so grateful to God and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving this wonderful truth to the world.
