I am very grateful for the many blessings which have come to me since I have been studying Christian Science. My first healing came through the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy; and an account of this healing was published in a Sentinel in 1906.

About nineteen years ago I was having trouble with my teeth. For about three months Christian Science treatment was applied, but the trouble seemed to get worse. During this time a dentist diagnosed the trouble as a very bad case of phyorrhea, and said I should lose all my teeth before getting relief. Four days after talking with the dentist I was healed instantaneously when the disease seemed at its worst point. Words cannot explain the wonder of it; it was as though I had been awakened out of a nightmare—there was no more pain and I was free. In about three weeks all inflammation was gone; and I did not lose a tooth until ten years later. My mouth is now in better condition than at any time prior to this healing.

I am grateful for the help of Christian Science in rearing our seven children, and grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving us a "key" to the Scriptures. The Bible always was a puzzle to me until I read Science and Health; then it became a joy to study.
