In January, 1929, I fell sick with a very bad head cold

In January, 1929, I fell sick with a very bad head cold. I was treated by a number of physicians, but without any resultant improvement, the pain and misery refusing to yield. Then I was told about Christian Science. I went to a practitioner and asked for help, which was given me in a very loving way. I was also suffering from rheumatism in the hip, and I was completely healed of this in a very short time, as well as of the first trouble. I should mention particularly that I have also been quickly healed through Christian Science of a chronic bowel laxity, which according to the decree of the doctors was incurable on account of my age—over eighty years.

For all these healings, for Christian Science, and also for the work of the practitioner, I am sincerely grateful.
