Eleven years ago a friend told me of Christian Science. I gladly accepted the loan of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. I did not seem to understand it, but I had been reading it only about a fortnight when I laid aside my reading spectacles, which I had used for several years, and I have not needed them since. From that time I have had so many healings that I should require several pages if I were to relate them all. Erroneous physical conditions from which I had suffered since childhood and others which had manifested themselves later in life have quietly passed away without any special effort on my part. Many attacks of sickness during these years have all been met and overcome by the truth. I have been healed of shattered nerves, vertigo, insomnia, chills and sore throat, lumbago, constipation, indigestion, what a doctor would, I think, have named bronchial pneumonia, and many other ailments.

In my home I have seen others healed of sore feet with corns and bunions, fallen arches, car sickness; after effects of a serious operation including weak back, white leg, and heart attacks; frequent attacks of neuralgia in head and face which had persisted for twenty years; asthma and gout, both of long duration, and dislocated knee.

I have applied Christian Science to many problems besides sickness. For all the benefits received I desire to express my love and gratitude to our beloved Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who toiled to bring the light of Truth to mankind.—
