It is now about fourteen years since I first heard of Christian Science, and it certainly has been a blessing. It came into my life shortly after I was married. Four children have been born to us, and as a result of Christian Science treatment their births were harmonious. The birth of the last one was entirely painless. Christian Science has met all the needs of the children. Three years ago three of them were quickly healed of chicken pox; more recently all four children were quickly healed of measles.

I should like especially to tell of a healing which my eldest daughter experienced some time ago. This was the healing of St. Vitus's dance. She had always been a very sturdy, dependable child. When I found that she was showing signs of this malady, we immediately sought Christian Science help. For about two weeks the condition seemed aggravated, and for some time it was necessary for us to feed and clothe her and help her in getting from one place to another, as she could not walk alone. We held to the truth steadfastly, with much loving help from a dear practitioner, and suddenly, at the end of ten weeks, we realized that the child was perfectly well. All symptoms of the disease left her overnight, and there was no period of convalescence. We learned many lessons during this experience, but the greatest to me was that of patience.

Christian Science is becoming more precious to me every day, and the only way I can express my gratitude is to live in accordance with its teachings to the best of my understanding.—(Mrs.) Bessie H. Fetzer, Lakewood, Ohio.
