NO doubt many joyfully recall their school days. Retrospection shows in memory's garden such flowers as youth, joy, activity, receptivity, teachableness, and good fellowship. Remembering these spiritual qualities so vividly portrayed in childhood, no wonder the heart sings! John Greenleaf Whittier recognized the fact that no one can be deprived of good, when he gave to the world those comforting words,

That all of good the past hath had
Remains to make our own time glad.
