In the issue of Friday, September 27, 1929, appeared a letter containing the following statement that requires correction: "Every religion should be hated that is man-made, woman-made, or devil-made. . . . But the devotees of all these should be loved, as should the devotees of Protestantism, Roman Catholicism, Christian Science, Buddhism, and others, because all these are blinded by 'the prince of this world' and it would be cruel indeed to hate blind people."

Christian Science is not a "woman-made" religion. The Apostle Paul says: "But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man. For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ." On page 107 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy appears the following statement: "In the year 1866, I discovered the Christ Science or divine laws of Life, Truth, and Love, and named my discovery Christian Science. God had been graciously preparing me during many years for the reception of this final revelation of the absolute divine Principle of scientific mental healing."

Mrs. Eddy is known to the students of Christian Science as its Discoverer and Founder, and every loyal student is grateful that she had the courage to prove to the world the religion which Christ Jesus demonstrated.
