Peace Demonstrated

DOES one seem beset with troubles? Do one's hopes seem blasted? Do one's friends seem to have forsaken one? Does joy seem turned into sorrow? Does one seem a failure? If so, one can find the Comforter in Christian Science. A joyous sense of peace comes to the individual whose vision is lifted by Christian Science. from the sepulcher of matter into the realm of Spirit. He is then undistubed by the clamor of the material senses, for he feels the presence of Christ, Truth, in his consciousness, which quiets the troubled heart with the heavenly message, "Peace be unto you." How inspiringly Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, has written (Miscellaneous Writings, p. 397; Poems, p. 12):

"And o'er earth's troubled, angry sea
I see Christ walk,
And come to me, and tenderly,
Divinely talk.
