After reading a few pages of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures"...
After reading a few pages of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I knew at once that it revealed the truth. Since childhood I had been subject to headaches, which seemed to be caused by my eyes, making it necessary for me to wear glasses. The glasses were discarded and the headaches were healed during my study of the textbook; for which I am very grateful. I was healed in a short time of influenza during the epidemic of 1918. My younger brother and sister were also healed of this disease.
I was interested in Christian Science at the time my two children were born, and I found Christian Science treatment very helpful. The children have never had any medicine but the truth, and have been healed of measles, whooping cough, and chicken pox. They attend the Christian Science Sunday School. Recently, my daughter contracted scarlet fever. While taking care of her I also contracted the disease. My healing was almost instantaneous, but ear trouble seemed to develop in the case of my little girl. The nurse from the board of health, who came to examine us, became alarmed at the condition and said a doctor must see the ear. A doctor was called and he examined it. He declared it to be a mastoid condition which would result in deafness. The practitioner was informed of all he had said and work was continued in Christian Science. In about two weeks' time, the child was beautifully healed.
My husband broke his wrist while cranking a truck, and was taken at once to a doctor to have it set. He had seen how Christian Science had helped me, so decided to try it to heal his wrist. After two visits to a practitioner his faith was such that he removed the splint, and his wrist was perfectly healed.
