Eleven years ago, as a member of a theosophical society I found myself attempting to worship two gods, one spiritual, the other material; one of life and love, the other a god of fate that brought sickness and finally death. No wonder I was dissatisfied in my search for the truth: I had become fatalistic and pantheistic.

One day a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was handed to me, and as I began to read I sensed intuitively by a spiritual, uplifted thought that this was the revelation of Truth to this age; that to know God as my Life was indeed life eternal, and that we had the ability to reflect all His attributes, qualities, and powers. Certainly my joy was unbounded.

When I first attended a Wednesday evening testimony meeting and heard such wonderful testimonies of healing they seemed like miracles to me; and I was healed of indigestion, constipation, and gastritis. Since then I have been healed of palpitation of the heart, ringworm, felon, sore throat, colds, and fear of contagion. I have been protected from accident, from loss, and in numerous other ways through the help of practitioners and by attending Christian Science lectures.
