It has been my desire for some time to express my sincere gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me through the study and application of Christian Science. A great sense of fear, worry, and doubt has been gradually overcome and replaced with more love, peace, and contentment in my daily life. It is now over nine years since Christian Science came to me through a dear friend. After going to a hospital for an operation for enlarged kidneys, tumors, and abscesses, I took up the study of Christian Science. I was there just ten days and was healed without an operation by studying the truth and nothing else. Each day I grew stronger, with the help of a dear practitioner. To-day I am in better health and feel younger and happier than before.

I am very grateful for the much loved literature, the Journal, Sentinel, and Monitor, and also for the Christian Science Quarterly, which helps me so much to understand the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. This textbook was indeed the "key" that unlocked for me the truths of the Bible, which was then a closed book, but is now my daily companion.
