I should like to relate two beautiful healings for which I give all honor to our Father-Mother God. Two years ago I was attacked by abscessed varicose veins. My right leg was covered with abscesses from top to bottom, and I suffered intense pain. I asked for Christian Science treatment, which was lovingly given, and one abscess after another disappeared. There was only one place on my ankle which had broken open and would not heal. Inharmony, which was caused by certain outward conditions, and which presented itself again and again, delayed the healing; but when belief in this discord was overcome the place was healed.

Towards the end of 1922 I was taken very ill with gastric ulcers, and was tormented with severe pain for months. Physicians ordered me to observe a strict diet, and during this time I became excessively thin. I had never thought of asking for Christian Science treatment, simply because I had no idea of its power. But in the meantime I have learned to appreciate and love its power and strength, and when last year at Christmas time I was again taken ill with gastric ulcers I very quickly asked for Christian Science treatment. I never once thought of dieting. After about five treatments, some of which were absent ones, I was healed. For these proofs of divine Love I can only praise and glorify God.
