Current Notes

REEDLEY, CALIFORNIA (First Church).—First Church of Christ, Scientist, having in mind for some time the construction of an edifice in which to worship, has completed arrangements for the erection of the building, and work is now progressing rapidly. The new church will be located on F Street, between Ninth and Tenth Streets, on the east side of the street, and will be fifty by eighty feet. The building will be of stucco, with tile roof. Spanish style of architecture will be used. The local Christian Science church owns three lots on F Street, where the new church building is to be constructed. Next spring the work of landscaping the grounds will be taken up. The front of the building will contain a Reading Room and foyer, and in the rear the Sunday school room and Readers' rooms will be built.—Reedley Exponent.
