Herald-Post

In addition to being the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mrs. Eddy is correctly known as a profound student and an able writer. For many years she was the editor of The Christian Science Journal. She also established the Christian Science Sentinel and The Christian Science Monitor, the last named publication being an international daily newspaper. That Mrs. Eddy was an inspired writer is indicated by her words on page 110 of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," as follows: "No human pen nor tongue taught me the Science contained in this book, Science and Health; and neither tongue nor pen can overthrow it. This book may be distorted by shallow criticism or by careless or malicious students, and its ideas may be temporarily abused and misrepresented; but the Science and truth therein will forever remain to be discerned and demonstrated."

The great work which Mrs. Eddy has done will endure despite malicious misrepresentations. Thousands continue to bear record of having been healed of sickness, sin, and discordant conditions through a reading or study of Science and Health with its inspired messages of Truth and Love, founded on the teachings of Christ Jesus and the Biblical promises.
