I wish to express my deep gratitude for the many blessings which have come to me through Christian Science.

Over a year ago, while at work, I was taking an oil drum out of a boiling solution of caustic soda when the hooks with which I was handling it slipped, and the drum, weighing about thirty pounds, fell on my foot from a distance of about three feet. The foot seemed to be badly bruised; and when the swelling went down, it was found that a bone of the big toe was broken. With the aid of a Christian Science practitioner I was able to continue my work. All pain soon left, and in a short time the healing was complete. I am very grateful for this, as well as for many other healings. I am also grateful for the privilege of being a member of a local Christian Science church, and for all the Christian Science activities.—Walter L. Smith, Oakland, California.
