I have been a student of Christian Science nearly nine years, and in all this time it has never failed to meet my needs. At one time I had an abscess in my side and a tumor. I asked a practitioner for help and the work was taken up. The difficulties did not yield at once, and at times the pain seemed to be intense. But we knew the evil would have to go, and go it did. The abscess and the tumor passed away.

Just after this healing the bowels did not move. This went on day after day with no discomfort. On the twenty-first day of inaction they moved without any pain in a perfectly natural and normal way, and have done so ever since. This was a wonderful proof to me of the unreality of matter, and with these healings came a brightness to me as of the lifting of a dark cloud.

I am very grateful that each member of my family loves and studies Christian Science, and that my two sons have learned to depend on it in all their activities, especially their school work. I am grateful that I have been healed of a great sense of false responsibility concerning them. Anxious thoughts about them only retard them, and I know that the same Father that takes care of me also takes care of them; hence there is no need for worry.
