For the many benefits I have received through the study and application of Christian Science, I desire to express my gratitude to God, to our Master-Teacher Jesus, and to the messenger of Truth to this age, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy. Christian Science has been my only help, spiritually, physically, and financially for more than ten years. It found me in sorrow, want, and grief, and I never lost my faith in God.

Hearing a sermon against Christian Science, I was led to borrow the book, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. As I read the book, it seemed wonderful to me. In less than three months I was completely and permanently healed of a tumorous growth in the breast, but do not know just when the healing took place. About this time I was also able to lay aside glasses, which I had worn for fourteen years, and which several oculists said I would always have to wear. I had no treatment for these. I only read the Bible and Science and Health. Words fail to express my gratitude for the blessings of mind and body I have received since I began the study of Christian Science.

In striving to keep thought filled with the truth about God, man, and the universe, as taught in Christian Science, I have had heavy burdens of suffering, sorrow, and want replaced with harmony, health, peace, happiness, and supply. Great freedom has come into my consciousness from a better understanding of what constitutes real relationship between men and real substance. It has been proved in my experience that the famished yearning heart, leaning on God, can receive the blessings Christian Science has to offer to all who have "ears to hear."
