Lecturer: William W. Porter; introduced by Mrs. Susanna Frise, who said:—

Jesus said, "Seek, and ye shall find." The promise, "Ye shall find," was verified in my experience many years ago. I had suffered for eight years from a physical condition that had been diagnosed by several good physicians, who agreed that a surgical operation was my only hope of relief. I would not consent to an operation, fearing more serious results.
