I am profoundly grateful for Christian Science, which has shown me the way to God. Christian Science has satisfied my spiritual longing, and through it I have found peace, joy, health, and happiness.

Through the regular study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, Mrs. Eddy's works, and the authorized Christian Science periodical literature, my whole thought has been changed. In proportion as thoughts of fear, resentment, envy, and self-love have been eliminated, thoughts of peace and love, making me happy and well, have taken their place. Deep-rooted sorrow has been healed, and a great fear of accidents, evoked by some serious experiences, destroyed. Since fear has been overcome, I have had no more accidents. The thought that we live, move, and have our being in divine Love has helped me in the overcoming of colds, to which I had been subject for months at a time during every winter since childhood. Very rarely do I now have any of the symptoms of this trouble; and a cold is always overcome in a few days. I have been healed of the grippe, of a diseased foot, of frequent severe headaches, of measles, of an infection of the face, and of a serious disorder when I accidentally swallowed some broken glass. Christian Science was of inestimable value to me when having dental work done.

For a wonderful healing experienced a little over two years ago I cannot be grateful enough. At that time I was ready to take a progressive step in Christian Science. The joy that this had been made possible for me caused me to neglect my duty, namely, to be on the alert and to protect myself. After I had been in poor health for some time, but had not been prevented from attending to my work, I was taken so seriously ill, according to material sense, that there seemed to be little hope of my recovery. A Christian Science practitioner gave me treatment, and Truth was the victor. Step by step the following words on page 425 of our textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, our beloved Leader, were proved: "Consciousness constructs a better body when faith in matter has been conquered. Correct material belief by spiritual understanding, and Spirit will form you anew." Every so-called material law which seemed to oppose my recovery, was overcome by the law of God. I am now strong and healthy. My healing made a deep impression on several of those not interested in Christian Science, and surprise was expressed that no ill effects remained, and that in a year I was able not only to take up my work again, but to take long walks in the mountains.
