Sonora, California (Society).—The repairing and remodeling of the Presbyterian church in this city, recently taken over by the Christian Science Society, is showing considerable progress. The outer stairway, the former entrance to the church, has been torn out and a new stairway erected inside. The building, with this change, will permit of a small yard, which can be beautified with grass and flowers. The real change in the appearance of the building will come when the entire outside will be covered with stucco. Our main street will have another building of which to be proud when the Scientists complete the remodeling of the church.
