Lecturer: Paul A. Harsch; introduced by Evan W. Davis, who said:—

Christian Science is based on the First Commandment, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me," and is the religion which Christ Jesus practiced. Christian Science has been called the religion of joy. It has been said that the happy faces seen within the membership attest the fact that its followers have found a peace and satisfaction in life—" the peace of God, which passeth all understanding" — that many have failed to find; and because it has made us happier we want to pass it along to our friends and neighbors, so that they too can share in this regenerating truth, in this joyous message of good cheer and hope.
