Lecturer: John Ellis Sedman; introduced by Mrs. Eva M. Shutes, who said:—

My daughter was healed through the understanding of God and His law after medical aid had failed. She had what is known as diphtheria. A doctor and a specialist were called in, and every known material remedy was applied, but without results. When it seemed as if there was just a little while left for her to live we were led to call in a Christian Science practitioner. There was an immediate response, and in a few hours we realized that the healing work was complete. There was no period of convalescence, but a fuller expression of health than she had ever known. Needless to say we wanted to learn something of the law of God, and we took up an earnest study of Christian Science. Since that healing Christian Science has been our only physician and has met overcome all manner of discord.
