It is impossible to express my gratitude for what Christian Science has done and is doing for me. Christian Science healed me of bowel trouble that I had had since childhood, after medical science had failed to help me. I had taken so much medicine that it had ceased to have any effect on me whatsoever; but thanks to Christian Science I am here to tell about it, for I am very sure that had I not found this wonderful healing truth when I did I would not be here to-day.

Another thing for which I have great cause for gratitude is the help received for my eyes. I am more grateful for this than words can express. I am so thankful also for the Reading Rooms, where we can go, if only for a few moments, to renew our courage and strength. Just the quietness of these rooms is helpful.

I am grateful for the loving work the practitioners are doing all over the world; for the church services; for the institutions established by The Mother Church; and for all the good that is being done through the understanding and practice of this wonderful truth each day. I am learning daily to overcome the fear and worry which used to cause so much unhappiness. In my office work I am trying to realize each day that God gives me intelligence and strength, and that as a consequence, harmony must result. Colds and the little aches and pains that come to many of us are lessening, and are being more quickly overcome. Influenza was once quickly proved powerless, with the result that no time was lost from my work.
