In grateful acknowledgment of the many benefits I have received from Christian Science during the past nine years, and with the hope that my testimony will help others, I wish to tell of my healing of eczema, during which experience a thought of truth was unfolded which has been of help to me many times since. The healing was a slow one. I had had the loving help of practitioners for many weeks, and no progress seemed to be made. Discouragement was about to overwhelm me when the thought came: The truth is being declared for you; because it is the truth, it has the power of God behind it; and because it has the power of God behind it, there is progress in your healing; it does not make any difference whether you can see it or not. I held on to this thought of truth, and it was not very long until improvement was manifested externally.

I have also been healed of erysipelas and influenza, and have been protected in accidents and from accidents many times. While I am very grateful to God for all these healing, I am more grateful for the joy, peace, and comfort it has given me, and for a better understanding of the Bible and of my relationship to God and to my fellow-man. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a brach Church of Christ, Scientist; for the privilege of class instruction; and for all the channels through which Christian Science is reaching the world to-day.
