With sincere gratitude I should like to add my testimony...

With sincere gratitude I should like to add my testimony to those of the many who lift up their voices in thanks through the pages of the Christian Science periodicals, in return for the great help and comfort derived from a study of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, in conjunction with the Bible and the Christian Science Quarterly. Quite early in the study of the above-named books I was morally uplifted and cured of pleurisy and the tobacco habit; but the actual spiritual progress has been slow. However, when apt to give way to discouraging thoughts, or to permit self-pity because of seeming failure to overcome some difficulty, it has brought immediate healing to remember our dear Leader's words on page 485 of Science and Health, "Come naturally into Spirit through better health and morals and as the result of spiritual growth."

For the kindly words and deeds of encouragement and help, also for the working out of problems that many practitioners and students have graciously helped me in solving, I am most truly grateful. Daily I give thanks for divine Love's sustaining power; also for our dear Leader's loving life of self-forgetful service for mankind, and for her devotion to good, that permeate my spiritual sense with a desire to emulate her nobility and moral courage, to help as I have been helped, to love as Love has been shown to me, to be chosen to work in the field, and to be instant in hearing and answering the call.

For the perfect health of my five children and for their increase in spiritual knowledge and understanding of our beloved Leader's words of admonition in Science and Health, I know thanks must be given to the guidance of divine Love. I have many times demonstrated the ever ready hand of divine Love to "deliver us from evil." A few months ago I was brought out of inharmonious surroundings into perfect peace and congenial work. The journey by road was made with three children during beautiful weather (although in November); every sense of lack was overcome, and the nothingness of error proved continually; "for God is infinite, allpower, all Life, Truth, Love, over all, and All" (Science and Health, p. 17).—(Mrs.) Georgina Vittery Whitlock, Radstock, Somersetshire, England.
