Christian Science has brought into my life happiness which I had longed for and tried to find in a material way for years. I had never been considered strong, always having ailments of various kinds; and often I had despondent spells, even when I seemed to be having pleasure. After I had grown up I went through an operation; but while some conditions seemed better others were worse, and some developed which I had not had before. Three years later I was told by a physician I would probably have to be operated on again. I then sought a Christian Science practitioner, and within a few hours had relief from colds, eczema, and other troubles. The complete healing was slow; but through seeking it many blessings have come.

At the time I accepted Christian Science our family of three were sick most of the time as the supposed result of influenza the year before. We had constant colds and weakness; and I was so discouraged that life, as understood at that time, meant very little.

Some of the things of which we have been entirely healed are severe spells of pain which physicians said were caused by gallstones; boils, for which treatment with serum and other forms of materia medica had been given without relief, vanished into nothingness through the study and application of Christian Science; and growths have disappeared. Through gaining an understanding of home as the consciousness of good, improved home conditions have been manifested; and through seeing man as the image and likeness of God, I am happier with my family than ever before.
