One afternoon I was taken suddenly ill, and in ten minutes had lost control of my right side. My husband carried me to a bed and called a Christian Science practitioner, who came in less than half an hour. While she was working for me I found I was able to move, and within two hours I was able to get out of bed, walk to the dining room, and eat dinner. Although my hand was swollen and I could not use it, it did not pain me. In thirty-six hours I was perfectly healed.

The following December I was taken with pneumonia. A practitioner was called, and in three days I was able to get up. I seven days I was perfectly well and out riding. During this time I never missed a meal.

I am very grateful for these blessings and for church membership, and also to the practitioner and the Christian Science nurse who were so patient with me. I could write at length of the many blessings I have received in my study of Christian Science.
