In 1917 was healed of nodes, a growth on the vocal cords, through reading the chapter on Prayer in the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy. After years of careful preparation for a singing career, this difficulty threatened to ruin my prospects at the very beginning. A very delicate operation or a long so-called rest was all the hope the medical profession held out to me. Since that time, many proofs of the allness of Spirit, as explained by Mrs. Eddy, have been given me. Christian Science never fails to meet one's needs, even if one at times fails to live fully up to one's understanding of it.

I am humbly grateful to Mrs. Eddy, our dear Leader, and to all the courageous men and women who are consecrating their lives to the establishing of Christ's kingdom of heaven on earth through Mrs. Eddy's clear revelation of Truth.
