It is a great privilege to have the opportunity of expressing...

It is a great privilege to have the opportunity of expressing my gratitude for all the blessings I have received through the study of Christian Science. I was sick for four years with a serious heart ailment, and during this time suffered great pain. Every known material remedy was tried, but instead of improving I gradually grew worse. Finally, physicians said my condition was incurable. It was at this time that I decided to try Christian Science. A practitioner was called and treatments were given. Gradually my health im proved, and in a month's time I was able to attend the Christian Science Sunday School. I am now entirely healed, and am able to carry on tasks which to human sense seemed to be beyond my strength. Although my healing was slow, I am grateful for it because it helped me to grasp the truth more fully. I was also addicted to the drug habit, but this has been entirely overcome. Through this wonderful healing several members of my family have become interested in Christian Science and they have also been wonderfully blessed.

I am also grateful for all the avenues through which these blessings come to us in Christian Science,—the Sunday school, the periodicals, the practitioner's help, which is at all times lovingly given,—and for the spiritual uplift which one gets through reading the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, as well as for a clearer understanding of the Bible.
