Many times I have been helped and encouraged by reading the testimonies in our periodicals; and I am glad to express my gratitude for these loving channels for sharing our blessings with one another, made possible by the wisdom of our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.

Before I knew of Christian Science I was not interested in the Bible, for I did not understand it. Through the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, I have learned to love the Bible and to prove, in a measure, that its promises of help and comfort are true.

Although I did not take up the study of Christian Science for physical healing, I have experienced several healings through the application of its teaching. Last year in an accident my hand seemed seriously injured, two of the knuckles being crushed, and several bones in the hand and fingers were broken. Without material aid of any kind, and through relying entirely upon the power of God, as taught in Christian Science, I was healed. The healing seemed slow, but it was perfect. Also, I have discontinued the use of glasses which I had worn for several years, and which an oculist had told me I could never do without.
