Some years ago I was completely healed through Christian Science treatment of attacks of appendicitis which had become very severe. At that time I knew practically nothing of Christian Science. This healing, however, created a desire in me to learn more of the truth which had freed me from this condition. So I began its study in earnest and have never ceased to be grateful for its loving message to me and to all mankind.

Christian Science has also healed me in a measure of fear, sorrow, loneliness, and doubt, along with other wrong concepts of man, and in their place it is implanting thoughts of love, joy, faith, and health. I am grateful to know that what this truth is doing for me daily, it is doing for the whole world; that it is turning its thoughts from the contemplation of evil to the contemplation of good, and so healing it of its false beliefs.

I am deeply grateful to Mrs. Eddy for her faithfulness to this great work which was intrusted to her, that every one may learn and do likewise, and so be a factor in the liberation of the world.
