As I have received much encouragement and help from reading the testimonies of healing published in the Christian Science Sentinel, I feel it to be my duty to God, to our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and to mankind, to tell of some of the blessings which have come to me through the study and application of the truths revealed in the Bible and made plain through Mrs. Eddy's writings.

It was in answer to my strong desire to know God aright that I was led to the study of this healing and saving teaching of Truth. Frequent colds, headaches, and other physical ailments have vanished almost completely from my consciousness since beginning this study, and perfect healing from a severe nervous breakdown has come into my experience. I had suffered from this about two years. During this time physicians told me that my heart was badly affected, and that I had high blood pressure. Through the faithful work of a Christian Science practitioner these conditions were completely overcome; also a fear of choking when taking food was overcome soon after I mentioned this fear to the practitioner. For more than a year I have been free from all these phases of discord. I feel stronger and in better health than before these experiences, and have gained about thirty pounds in weight.

I now see that these healings, which at first seemed marvelous, are divinely natural manifestations of the healing laws of divine Love. I also see that one cannot grow in wisdom and understanding of God without experiencing the "signs following" which attend the operation of this law. As the Bible states, "Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it." In following this, one is following the pathway which leads to eternal harmony.
