Christian Science was presented to me by one of our friends, and I did not doubt for a moment that I had found the truth.

For twelve years I had suffered from metritis, and the physicians had exhausted all the resources of medical science, including the most modern: electricity, magnetism, autosuggestion, and medicine of all kinds—all this without benefit. I was helped successively by two practitioners, who with utmost consecration treated me. In spite of this, the healing was very slow, taking three years. To-day I realize that I was accepting the general belief which says that this illness is chronic and incurable. Thanks to the supreme power of Truth, I am now free from all my difficulties.

To God goes out my deepest love, as well as immeasurable gratitude, for having given us Christ Jesus and Mrs. Eddy, who have revealed to us the true knowledge of our being. I am also very grateful to the practitioners and Christian Science friends who have helped me.
