Lecturer: Robert Stanley Ross; introduced by H. Bruce Fletcher, who said:—

Christian Science is the Christianity taught and practiced by the Master and revealed to this age by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, and author of the textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures." On page 135 of this book Mrs. Eddy writes, "Christianity as Jesus taught it was not a creed, nor a system of ceremonies, nor a special gift from a ritualistic Jehovah; but it was the demonstration of divine Love casting out error and healing the sick." I can bear witness that the understanding of Christian Science makes this "demonstration of divine Love" possible. For many years this understanding has been my only physician, healing all the physical ills that have come to me during that time. It has also helped me to cast out a very quick temper and an unreasonable disposition, and has enabled me to meet with courage and assurance the problems of business life with the knowledge gained through the study of Christian Science, that "with God all things are possible."
