I have many reasons for being grateful that Christian Science came into my experience when I was but a child. It has been a source of comfort, encouragement, and protection, and the physical difficulties overcome through its application have been many. During an influenza epidemic I found it necessary to meet and overcome an attack of it through the help of a practitioner. Severe colds, growths on the hands, and pain in various forms have been destroyed. Two healings of the tobacco habit have come under my observation, when the weed had been used for many years. Giving up tobacco left no unsatisfied desire. Through the realization of God's bounty and goodness, lack has given place to abundance. These are but a few of the blessings received.

Church membership, class instruction, our literature, and the various activities in our field have been most helpful in gaining a correct and enlarged understanding of this Science of Life—Christian Science. Gratitude to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for her unselfed labor and wisdom cannot be measured.
