Christian Science is a great joy to me, because through its teachings I have been able to overcome many obstacles and to solve many problems; and in the degree that I have put into practice the truths contained in "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I have been able to "prove all things" and "hold fast that which is good."

My first healing in Christian Science was that of kidney trouble and high blood pressure. Physicians had told me that unless I strictly adhered to a long diet list and followed many of their medical laws, I could not live. Needless to say, the diet list was destroyed after I had tasted the peace and joy and comfort of my first Christian Science treatment. Since that time I have gone through the experience of having two children born under Science treatment. Having had two other children before coming into Christian Science, I was able to note the sharp contrast between those experiences, attended by great suffering and bondage, and the latter, attended by peace and happiness, with perfect health afterwards.

It would be difficult to express my gratitude for the protection we feel when away from our loved ones, because of the knowledge that God is good, and that because He fills all space, no evil can touch them if we are thinking correctly.
