First of all, I wish to thank God for Christian Science. Through His infinite love and all-inclusive intelligence an unselfish woman was able to fathom the teachings and demonstrations of Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, and to explain them so clearly to oppressed humanity that thousands have already been freed from sorrow and misery, and from year to year partake more of the rich blessings which Christian Science brings to us.

One of my first and most important healings, many years ago, was the almost instantaneous relief from chronic constipation, which in spite of countless remedies had caused me great suffering. Slight and serious children's complaints were also healed by divine Love. In several accidents also, some of which were dangerous, we were able to experience the ever present power of God. In the course of this year I suffered from intestinal trouble and phlebitis, which caused me very severe pains; but with God's help I have been able each day to fulfill the many duties which have come to me. In spite of all the efforts and kind help rendered me, the difficulties did not yield for a long time. This roused me anew to study more of this teaching and to guard my thought better, and this led to the healing. I should like to call to every sufferer who is laboring under a seemingly lengthy convalescence, not to lose courage; for the spiritual fruits which one wins by it outweigh everything else.

I wish to express my sincerest gratitude to all who are working for the Cause of Christian Science, and who are proclaiming the wonderful truth which makes free.
