With a grateful heart I wish to relate some of the blessings...
With a grateful heart I wish to relate some of the blessings I have experienced in Christian Science. I was under medical treatment for about ten years, but could not find healing anywhere. I was unhappy, mentally and physically. Then in 1912 I was also afflicted with a pectoral complaint. After I had tried everything for three years, the physicians informed me that I was suffering from cancer in the breast, and must undergo an operation. I was operated on twice; but the wound would not heal, and I was informed that my right arm would remain paralyzed. Then I heard of Christian Science. I accepted this teaching with joy, and a practitioner gave me treatment. The wound soon healed. Treatment was continued, and the paralysis disappeared, so that I can now use my arm normally again. Since 1918, I have lived with my family in a suburb. We have a large garden to till, and I do part of the garden work myself, as well as the housework, to the joy of my dear ones.
Through the study of Christian Science I have learned that God is always with me, and that He is my ever present help in every emergency. With all my heart I thank God for this healing, and that He sent us our noble Leader, Mary Baker Eddy. "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases."
(Mrs.) Louise Pfeiffer, Berlin, Germany.
