With deep joy and a grateful heart I whish to give my testimony, relating the blessings which I have received through Christian Science. Five years have passed since I received the first copies of its literature, given me by a dear woman. I did not immediately gain the right understanding, but was comforted in the severe times of stress through which we passed.

Last winter I was healed of a tenacious kidney and bladder trouble through loving help in Christian Science. No doctor had been able to help me. I also suffered from weak heart and nerves to such an extent that I was scarcely able to do the necessary housework. These troubles also disappeared into their native nothingness. Through diligently reading and studying "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, and pondering the Lesson-Sermons, I have been healed of weakness of the stomach. Last spring our little daughter was healed of catarrh of the bladder. A practitioner treated her.

I can never express the joy which I have experienced through the study of this beautiful truth. For all the good, the benefits and teachings, which I have received through Christian Science I am deeply grateful to our loving God, as well as to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy. I am also grateful for my growth in spiritual understanding. I wish to say with the Psalmist, "Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day."—(Mrs.) Berta Fischbacher, Teufenau-Herisau, Kt.
