Lecturer: John J. Flinn; introduced by Mrs. Eleanor Haise, who said:—

Some fifteen years ago Christian Science was lovingly presented to me at a time when I was in great need of healing, both mentally and physically. Worldly pleasures, which had wholly occupied my time and thought, had ceased to satisfy me, and I was longing for a greater understanding of God and to find my relationship to Him as Him child. The loving services of a practitioner were secured, and a copy of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy was purchased. This I read and reread until the healing truth contained therein pierced the cloud of materiality, and the revelation of Truth was unfolded to my consciousness. Then I was healed. I realized as never before the true relationship between God and man, Father and Son, and that man is the offspring of the one Father-Mother God. Through this revelation of Truth the veil of materialism was rent and the darkness of mortal belief dispelled, so that I saw clearly the unreality of the claim of life in matter. Christian Science has brought to me the blessings of health, peace, joy, abundance, and a greater sense of love and compassion for all mankind.
