I was brought up in Christian Science, attending Sunday school during my boyhood. However, I gradually fell away from its teachings as I grew older, discontinued going to church, and adopted the ideals and thinking of the material world. By discontinuing all study of Science, I cut myself off from the consciousness of the corrective influence of the divine Mind, and so became an easy prey to all sorts of inharmony. At a time when life looked dark indeed, I was, however, led to a Christian Science practitioner, to whom I am very grateful. It became necessary for me to acquire some spiritual understanding of this Science, so I studied the Lesson-Sermons regularly. As a result of the study of this practical Science and the work of the practitioner, my erroneous, material thinking was gradually changed to spiritual perception, and I was freed. Through the efforts of the same practitioner, and my own study, I have been freed from acne in a most severe form, general nervousness, and goiter.

Christian Science is a very great help in my everyday work. I find that the study of the Lesson-Sermon every day clears one's thought so that harmonious activity is sure to result. I am very thankful for this Science, and to the practitioner, as well as for the periodicals and for church membership.—Roland J. Kassebaum, Plymouth, Wisconsin.
