Unity Above

Above, we all may see the stars; below, for each one the scene varies. Some see green meadows, some dust. Looking up draws us near one another, knowing, wherever we are, that above, all may see the same brightness. Men's brotherhood seems very close while we are all thus gazing upward. Above, there is the realm of God, Mind; below, there is the mist and confusion of beliefs in sin, sickness, and death; for men say, Devils are legion. But then we lift thought to our God, and with consecration remember that divine Love, which fills all space, is the same for all of Love's children, knowing that, whatever the belief, all may prove the same high understanding. Then we are all of one Mind; and we know, being sons, we are brothers.
