With deep gratitude I wish to acknowledge the healing power of Truth. I have received so many benefits through Christian Science I hardly know where to begin. I have had many healings, for one of which I am especially grateful. The eye specialist to whom I had gone for treatment told me he could do no more for my eyes. He told me to give up my position, which meant much to me at that time, and said I must give up all reading and sewing and stay in a dark room as much as possible.

In this discouraged and seemingly hopeless condition, my attention was directed by a dear friend to Christian Science. Just to please her, and without the least hope of relief, I read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, starting with the chapter on Prayer. I did not read long before the healing power was felt. I immediately left off my glasses and have not worn them since. That was four years ago. I kept my position, and can read and sew at any time of the day or evening with perfect comfort. I have also been healed of chronic indigestion, constipation, nervous headaches, and many minor ailments.

I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy for giving to all humanity this beautiful truth. I am very grateful for the spiritual uplift and the better understanding I have gained of God.
