I wish to express my sincere gratitude for Christian Science. About fifteen years ago I first heard of this healing truth. At that time I had a very severe case of stomach trouble. I had several good doctors, and faithfully followed their instructions, taking the medicines which they prescribed, but failing to find relief. Also, my eyes became very weak, and I found it necessary to wear glasses for a year or more. At this time a kind friend told my mother and me about Christian Science. I decided to have treatments from a practitioner at once. In about one week my glasses were laid aside, and I have never had them on since. My eyes are very strong. In about three weeks I was completely healed of the stomach trouble. I am very grateful for that healing, and also for the proofs I have had since of God's protecting care.

My heart overflows with gratitude to Mrs. Eddy for giving us in this age the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," which is true to its name. The privileges of membership in The Mother Church and a branch church and of serving in the church activities have been a great joy to me, and have helped me so much in obtaining a greater understanding of the truth about God and His universe. My desire is to know more of this truth and to live it more in my daily life.
