The Lectures

Introductions to Lectures

Racine, Wisconsin (First Church).

Lecturer: Judge Frederick C. Hill; introduced by Arthur Joseph Schroeder, who said:—

All will agree that progress and happiness in meeting the varied problems of life are two things that are greatly to be desired. All of the real progress and all of the real happiness which have been experienced by humanity have come about through the application of the truth in some measure. We look to the Bible as the great storehouse of truth; and Christian Science is founded upon the Bible truths. Christian Science is proving the Bible truths to be true. In explaining how to progress, Paul said, "Be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind;" that is, by changing your thinking from a material to a spiritual basis.
